Nope, it doesn't smell goaty. It doesn't even smell like milk. This is a 40% shea butter recipe so the lather is really creamy & extra moisturizing. I was my hands an UNCOUNTABLE times a day. The extra creaminess keeps my hands from drying out so much.
No color added the milk goes from pretty white to a pretty tan during gel phase. The temps start at 80-90 and get to 108.5, some get hotter and the tops will get a little crack in them. It happens when the milk has more butterfat and that I don't know until it happens~ all part of the fun ; ).
